Why your counterparty matters
A thirty-year land lease is worth exactly what the continuity of whoever signs it is worth. Being family-owned is not a decorative detail: it is why this property has had a single owner from the start.
Our history
Punta Colorada began as a personal conviction, not a real estate plan. In the early 2000s, after more than twenty years as a salaried professional, our founder bought this land in La Higuera to join the fruit-growing boom the north of the country was going through at the time. The crops did not prosper, but the land revealed its value in precisely what made them difficult: the wind.
That observation led to the first wind lease, operating on the property today, and to everything that followed: transmission easements from different holders, a step-up substation inside the property, a reservation for a solar PV project and battery storage. Estancia El Chañar remains in the hands of the same family.
Our model
We do not develop projects: we are the land partner. We lease, reserve and manage contracts and easements for decades. Our role is to give developers certainty over the land for the entire life of their project: clean title, a stable counterparty and prior contractual experience.
- Long-term leases for generation and storage
- Paid land reservations for projects in development
- Creation and management of easements
- Coordinating coexistence among multiple occupants of a property
